Best hair transplant clinic in Turkey: the essentials for choosing well

By Klineva · Updated on 11 October 2026 · 4 min read

There is no official ranking of ‘the best hair transplant clinic in Turkey’: the right clinic is the one that suits your case. The good news is that a few simple pointers are enough to give you an idea. A reputable clinic tells you clearly who will operate on you, where, for what price and with what follow-up, without you having to investigate. Here are the essentials, market prices and what a stress-free journey with Klineva looks like.

How do you choose a hair transplant clinic in Turkey?

Three pointers are enough to feel confident. A reputable clinic gives them to you of its own accord, from the very first conversation: you don’t have to investigate.

1. A medical team that gives clear answers

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure, carried out by a team in an operating theatre. A reputable clinic explains simply what each person does and gives clear answers to your questions about the team operating on you. At Klineva, an adviser supports you before you leave.

A good clinic also takes an interest in your health: medical history, current treatments, a blood test before the procedure. For more information, our article on the contraindications to hair transplants will help.

2. An authorised facility

In Turkey, hair transplants are regulated: they are carried out in a facility authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health.

A reputable clinic tells you, of its own accord, the name of the facility where you will have your surgery: it is information it gives you naturally.

3. A clear written quote

A good quote is in writing (email or PDF). It specifies the estimated number of grafts (the small groups of hair that are replanted), the technique (Sapphire FUE, DHI, no-shave…) and what the price includes.

That way you know exactly what you are paying for, and you can compare two offers on the same basis. At Klineva, the package is all-inclusive: 2 nights in a 4★ hotel, transfers, an interpreter, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and 18 months of follow-up (price below). Reviews, photos, follow-up: what inspires confidence

Reviews and photos from real patients

Patient reviews on independent sites and before and after photos of real patients, showing the number of grafts and at least 12 months since surgery, give a good idea of the results. Klineva publishes the results of real patients, with the number of grafts and the time since surgery: see our before and after results.

Why 12 months? Transplanted hairs often shed temporarily between 2 and 8 weeks after the transplant: this is ‘shock loss’, a temporary shedding. The first results can be seen at around 6 months, and the final result arrives between 12 and 18 months. Photos taken at 12 months or more are therefore the most telling.

Follow-up after you return home

Post-operative follow-up allows the team to monitor regrowth and answer your questions after the operation. At Klineva, it lasts 18 months.

Clear communication, no pressure

A good clinic takes the time to reply to your messages and lets you decide at your own pace. The first conversation is also a chance to see whether you get on well. At Klineva, an adviser reviews your case from photos and gets back to you within 24 hours: the diagnosis is free.

How much does a hair transplant in Turkey cost?

Here are the price ranges published in 2026 by clinics and intermediaries based in Turkey, France or Hungary. They apply to packages that generally include the procedure, the hotel and transfers:

TechniquePrice ranges published in 2026
Classic FUEapprox. €2,100 to €4,000
Sapphire FUEapprox. €2,400 to €6,000
DHIapprox. €2,600 to €6,000
Klineva (Sapphire FUE or DHI)under €3,000, all-inclusive: 4★ hotel, transfers, interpreter, PRP and 18 months of follow-up

Prices published by clinics and intermediaries, collected in October 2026 (see the sources at the bottom of the page). Klineva row: package price displayed on klineva.com.

Several sources place most packages at around €2,000 to €4,000, with a stated average price of around €2,400. The differences come down to the number of grafts, the technique, what is included and, depending on the offer, the doctor’s role in the operating theatre. To compare two offers, start from the number of grafts: a teaser price may correspond to only a small number of grafts.

If a price is well below these ranges, simply ask what it includes: the written quote will tell you.

At Klineva, our packages start below €3,000. They include 2 nights in a 4★ hotel, transfers, an interpreter, PRP, the medical wash the next day and 18 months of follow-up. The details are in our guide to hair transplant prices in Turkey. Still undecided about the destination? Read our comparison of hair transplants in Hungary or Turkey.

What does a patient journey with Klineva look like?

We recommend choosing a clinic that guides and supports you from start to finish. That is what Klineva does. Founded by two Frenchmen, Jérémy Delattre and Julien Delanoue, the clinic has 10 years of experience and 9,000 patients. An adviser supports you before you leave, an interpreter goes with you on site and the follow-up continues after you return home.

The stay lasts 3 days in Istanbul. A driver meets you at the airport on day 1. The blood test, then the operation, take place on day 2. On day 3, you have your first wash and a post-transplant treatment, before going home.

    Frequently asked questions

    01

What is the best hair transplant clinic in Turkey, and is there a ranking?

To our knowledge, no official ranking names one. The best clinic for you is the one that explains clearly who does what, details its quote, shows results from real patients and provides follow-up after you return home. At Klineva, an adviser supports you before you leave, an interpreter goes with you on site and follow-up continues for 18 months.

    02

Why do hair transplant prices vary so much from one clinic to another?

The differences come down to the number of grafts, the technique, what is included (hotel, transfers, medication, follow-up) and the team’s experience. To compare, ask for a written quote that states the number of grafts and what the package includes: with the same number of grafts, the comparison becomes simple.

    03

How can you tell a reputable hair transplant clinic?

It explains simply who does what, gives you a written quote with the number of grafts and the technique, shows results from real patients and provides follow-up after you return. It answers your messages clearly, without rushing you.

    04

Is a hair transplant in Turkey dangerous or safe?

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure, which Turkey regulates: it is carried out in facilities authorised by the Turkish Ministry of Health. Like any surgery, it carries risks. France Diplomatie, the French foreign ministry, recommends seeking the advice of a healthcare professional in France before leaving; choosing an authorised facility, with a team that explains clearly what each person does, helps to reduce them.

    05

Which hair transplant techniques (FUE, Sapphire FUE, DHI) are offered in Turkey?

The techniques most often offered in Turkey are FUE, its variant Sapphire FUE, and DHI. In FUE, the grafts are extracted one by one, then implanted into micro-channels. In Sapphire FUE, these channels are opened with sapphire blades; in DHI, an implanter pen places the grafts directly. Each method has its advantages, and the choice depends on your case: see our guide FUT, FUE or DHI: which technique should you choose?.

    06

How can you tell whether reviews of hair transplants in Turkey are reliable?

Patient reviews on independent sites (Trustpilot, Google, forums) give a good idea, in addition to the testimonials on the clinic’s own website. The most useful ones show a result at 12 months or more. Klineva displays a 4.9/5 rating from 172 Trustpilot reviews (recorded in October 2026).
